It's a big step up for Ekeler. That almost looks like high school football.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

That's what I was thinking. He had a lot of space to work with.

While i agree Ekelers competition did not look great he definitely refused to go down easily and displayed speed and quickness you look for. If he is coachable i think he has a resl shot at a roster spot with Danny gone.

I think Ekelers is our best udfa so far. Time will tell. Players have a way of surprising you.

I'm going to miss going to TC this year.

I can see Ekeler needing lots of space to run unless he's so small it's tough for defenses to pick him out. After watching him in the video I'm less sure about him. LOL - I'm sorry. One, he doesn't look very fast. And two, he doesn't look anything close to 200 pounds. Maybe it's the quality of the video or how it was shot. I don't know. Of course it could just be me.

Maybe Oliver really isn't that bad. ha. He should have better blocking this year.

I'm hoping that one of these guys are at least better than someone that's currently on last years roster...that's it. Low expectation! Ekeler might be the Woodhead type, but I'm not there yet with him. Eli may be better than Bercovici, but that isn't saying much until he's out there throwing. It's interesting that the last three top picks have a college squadmate on the team ... Gordon-Watt, Bosa-Perry, and now at least for camp, Williams-Scott, so I guess they could continue that trend.

I think Culkin could have a chance to earn that 4th TE spot.
Onwualu could push Perry or Emanuel.
Scott because of his ST's might be our 6th WR.

Dontre Wilson brings a lot to the table (KR, receiver, rb). His versatility could make him stick. Injuries were were what held him back.

It's funny, we usually get our skill players through UDFA wrs and olinemen as UDFA but not this year. I'm looking at the wr thinking special teams only hope this kid doesn't have to start and I use to think this kid could polish up nice and maybe be something like Floyd...

The unintentional dependence on UDFA's leads to overall poor talent. I like the way the Pats can get compensatory picks for getting waived players then letting them go to back to the market to get picked up by someone else. Of course, the only thing that remains constant is their coaching staff and Brady. If TT can maintain drafts like the last two, there won't be a big need for someone from the UDFA's to have to contribute.
