Since he deleted his tweet, he might have gotten some break on his situation. We'll see

So according to his dad, a doctor wouldn't clear him to play because of a foot issue, and that Wilson never technically signed with the Chargers. Bummer. He's a fun player to watch, but his body has failed him.

Chargers' James Onwualu had 17 NFL teams soliciting him post 2017 NFL draft

While he wasn’t in high demand during the 2017 NFL draft event in Philadelphia this offseason, Los Angeles Chargers linebacker James Onwualu had his phone ringing off of the hook as soon as it ended.

According to the team’s official site, Onwualu had 17 different NFL teams offer him a contract shortly after the draft concluded. But there also was little doubt which team he would choose once L.A. became part of the fold.

Onwualu and fellow Chargers rookie defensive tackle Isaac Rochell share a deep bond that drives each player to excel in the heat of competition.

Combine Rochell’s presence with Gus Bradley’s scheme and the fact that the Chargers were his favorite childhood team? The decision became a no-brainer for Onwualu, who has all the looks of a classic NFL overachiever.

That's interesting. His Notre Dame bio has nothing to suggest any geographical tie to the Chargers, as his home town is St. Paul, MN.

I wonder if any of the tryout players gets a call.

                      Specifically Ahmad Thomas!

New beat reporter Dan Woike told Hardwick and Richards that he noticed during rookie camp that Telesco was paying a ton of attention to Yunghoe Koo, if he impresses all TC he could replace Lambo

Interesting. Lambo had better be at his best during camp and especially the preseason games. If all things are equal when the final cuts come, let's be honest, Koo would likely get the nod, especially when you have over 300,000 people of Korean descent in the greater Los Angeles area. The Chargers need to build a fan base and Koo could add one that is probably untapped. It should be an interesting competition to watch.
