I have seen some articles saying that Dillard's stock is rising fast in lieu of the Senior Bowl. If he projects to LT then he is not making the end of round two. Man o man... do we need starters at all three of those positions though.

Dillard looked bad in the game.
There are mixed reviews on a lot of prospects.
          Broad sourcing is required.
Dial in the talent level, player by player.
          dalton risner
          brandon jones
          jordan brailford
          dante olson
          charles omenihu
          anthony ratliff-williams

looking over our draft history and where we've had success, my first priority would be QB with one of our first two picks.... if there is someone I wish for (there is

next up would be a Dlineman/DT.... plan B would be a safety or TE (@28).

round two, and if the QB I wish for is off the board, would be looking Olineman…. plan B @60 would be a wideout.

so my mock (in this scenario) would look like:

            1) QB Jarrett Stidham, DT Dexter Lawrence, FS Nasir Adderly/Deionte Thompson, TE Noah Fant/TJ Hockenson
            2) OT Isaiah Prince, WR Kelvin Harmon/AJ Brown
            3) RB Bryce Love

Like what I've seen of Dexter Lawrence. If he has his mind right, he'll be an impact player. The combination of size & athleticism is pretty rare. I'd be interested in his combine interview & what his coaches have to say.
In my mind biggest need is MLB but DT may have the most talent.

I think 3-4 teams will see Lawrence as and anchor nose. I think he will be there when we pick but man this is a deep DT draft. Maybe we fill another spot and try for value in 2nd for DT

That was my thinking... but we are pretty desperate for a MLB and the draft is pretty deep there too. I think we go with the BPA in those two positions in the 1st... although I wouldn't complain if we got an OT. Really hoping someone drops at DT/MLB w/ the ability to make an impact on D like James did for us last year. If we can land a stud DT/MLB combo then the D could be close to elite (if they stay healthy).

I had big man crush on Tremain Edmunds last year. Loved the Derwin pick but man that would have plugged a hole. He’s still only 20....crazy

I’d be more than happy paying Grady Jarrett and going all in on MLB in draft. Get another rotational DT later in a deep draft.

I have been harping on this FA pickup for 3 weeks straight... but I got a pretty reasonable response that he will either agree to a big offer from the Falcons or they will tag him. The Falcons have a lot of FAs... but none near as important as Jarrett. He would be a dream pickup IMO. A total game changer.
