    1090 interviews today

Mike Aguirre is going to sue the chargers and nfl for anti-trust

but said needs city attorney to file paperwork.

Mayor falconer said he is actively pursuing a new team.

    Spoke with commissioner today.

Was actively working on a deal with the nfl the day of dean's announcement.

Seems like two conflicting things. Aguirre wants to sue (what's new?) while Faulconer is working towards getting another team. The only thing in common is the amount of hot air both of these clowns are spewing.

This is San Diego. Our politicians won't have the spine to sue the NFL.

I listened to Faulconer on both 1360 and 1080 today and he was all political-speak as always. Talked for 20 minutes and said absolutely nothing. He is the least likely man to bring the NFL back to San Diego.

I got the feeling Faulconer thinks this story isn't over yet. Maybe he's still hoping the NFL kicks in the difference.

However, IMO, he's a bit delusional if he thinks the NFL and/or the Chargers are going to come off their number and bring the team back. That would be the greatest bluff of all time put forward by the Chargers.

Edit: Ernie Hahn was saying on 1090 yesterday something on the order that the Spanos should sell the team to people in San Diego that would treat it like a civic asset. That'd be the only way the NFL would return to SD (IMO), and it ain't gonna happen. It'd be pretty tough to buy the Chargers at LA prices and then move them back to SD.

        Prediction:
        Correct: Chargers CI fails miserably.
Fail: Team stays in San Diego until their lease runs out in 2020. (without getting new deal done by then) .
Sig Bet WIN: The Chargers will file for relocation on January 15.
