2nd of three games in a row vs. the AFC West. Chiefs are coming off a big win and a bye week, but this game is at home. Probably no Flowers, but no new injuries on the OL.

Do we know he's out, or are we speculating? I haven't heard any of the postgame stuff (unless it's been posted on the board and I haven't seen it yet).

Here's a scary stat they had on the radio this morning - Andy Reid has a 13-2 record in games coming off a bye week.

Of course the NFL would never schedule a team against a divisional opponent who is coming of their bye. But surely they would not do it two weeks in a row? But.....

I suspect this game will be much like the Raider game. A high scoring affair, with a late score winning the game. Fortunately it's at home, but Rivers needs to keep the chains moving and score TDs and not FGs. I would like Rivers to check down to Oliver more in the flat, he had room to run on some of those early down plays (in the 4th) went Rivers was throwing into double coverage.

Wasn't there a year back 3-4 years ago, where we faced opponents coming off of byes something like 4 weeks in a row. No one noticed nationally but the fans and SD media was complaining about it

Sucks that they are going to be without Flowers. Maybe they get Wright back at least. On the plus side, the Chiefs don't have a big passing offense, so maybe we can survive one more week. These injuries are getting insane this year. Running out of running backs and corner backs
