To root for the former home team or not? It’s a question for which there is no right answer, especially in a laid-back city on the ocean.

That also means the little soccer stadium will be over-run with Cheese Heads and bumble bees.

So we are home team again? And lose another real home game?
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

That's how things are with those teams with temporary situations (Raiders, Rams, Chargers) and the team that has voluntarily taken a game in London (Jags). I think the Bucs owners are ok with getting a London game, given that they own Manchester United.

I thought that the Packers might have been the team to play overseas vs the Chargers in London as they haven't yet played there, but the Panthers get to do their duty overseas for the first time, I guess because Jerry Richardson no longer owns them.

I winder if team owners get a larger slice of the pie if they are the home team. Then it would make more sense for the Spanii.

The teams all get more on a home take than they do with an away take. The international games wouldn't happen if they didn't make money for the owners. The London game increased overall attendance for the Chargers, and they publicized that fact, knowing that a big part of that was due to the London game (but intentionally hiding that from the blind public)

So the Chargers do make more money by playing as the home team in Mexico City even if it puts them at a competitive disadvantage for the season. Makes perfect sense to me, don't let your record get in the way of making money.

I guess they will start a Fight for Mexico City campaign?

Yeah, if their market research indicates that there is a chance of it (as slim as it is), they will do it, It's the way they run their business. Cowboys, Raiders and Steelers are pretty much a default as a favorite team around the world.
