porkchops answered the same question saying it was hard, and he brought up playing in LA this coming year (why his out of the league ass thought he would still have a career i don't know). i got the impression that some players didn't feel wanted because the stadium wasn't getting done and was always full of the oppositions fans.

Talking about Porkchops, he's still a FA.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

In 1968 I was at a Kiwanis meeting because I was the president of my high school's Key Club. I had to make a short presentation before Don Coryell got up and talked about the Aztecs. He and I sat together at dinner, and I have to say he couldn't have been nicer. Again, just a good guy.

In your 15 min chat did you advise him to drop the same running play 3X at the goal line (vs Wash in 2013) strategy? If not, maybe your wife can FB message it to his wife.
Damn it you stole my thunder!

And maybe go for it once in while.

I once met Rex Ryan at a Bed Bath and Beyond. Nice guy but he kept staring at my feet and asking about my shoes. And my socks. It was creepy.

Great story about McCoy. Happy anniversary

They often said how Norv was one of the nicest NFL head coaches.

yep! and he often proved it by telegraphing his plays and giftwrapping games for opponents :lmao:
