Thought I would start the discussion now that we are 3 preseason games in.

Previously I, and others here, have agonized over some of the final cutdowns to come.
Not this year.
I don't believe we are even 45 deep, never mind the 53.
Who ya got as a lock from the non starters?

I'm a huge fan of many players on this team but the team lacks depth almost across the board and many starters would be depth elsewhere.

I hope I'm proven wrong. For Philip's sake

I think if this team had its starters for 16 games, they'd have a shot. But the depth on this team is garbage.

Not really impressed with any of the guys fighting for a spot aside from McCoil. I think he's a lock.

I haven't noticed McCoil getting any reps with the 2s tho. Seems he is always with the 3s.

Rivers kicks ass. Dude takes a beating every year, and, except for that game-winning touchdown drive by Billy Volek, we've never needed a backup QB. I'm not even sure whey we waste a roster spot on a backup quarterback. If Rivers goes down, our whole season is fucked no matter what. We'd have just as good a chance at making the post season with Nate Kaeding at QB as we would with Clemons. I'm not saying Clemons sucks - I'm saying we are a 0-win team without Rivers. I doubt there is another QB in the league we could have won 4 games with last season.

"Couldn't get in sync with the offense". WTF? Did he even get ONE SNAP with Rivers as the QB?? Leave it to the Chargers to throw in a head-scratcher along with the good news. Don't want the fans to get TOO excited. LOL!

I really would like to see Jones' RZ numbers compared to everyone on this roster.
