    RB Kenneth Farrow

I've been impressed from what I have seen of him. Seems to have the good parts of Brandon Oliver with a little bit of the shake and bake and speed of Danny Woodhead, which I think is a great combination for a running back.

That catch and spin move he delivered last night was a thing of beauty. I know it was only against second stringers but there is definitely something there.

    Let's hear more about him.

Farrow had a productive career at Houston and looks to be a possible late-round pick in the draft. Let's get to know him a little better.

"How does he describe himself as a running back?

"I think I'm a three-down running back. I can block, I can get the short yardage and also I can make some big plays. I pride myself in being able to do anything they need me to do, especially blocking-wise or catching out of the backfield.

"Definitely a one-cut runner. I'm north and south. I think I can make people miss probably better than most people think in open space, but I definitely like to get north and south. That's my strength, going downhill. It's hard to get me down with an arm tackle. Whenever I can get going, get that full steam, that's what I love to do, get the most yardage I can."

Can he be a receiving threat?

Farrow caught 74 passes for the Cougars, but only 10 as a senior.

"I think that's (catching) something that's kind of underrated and something I didn't get to do as much in college. I think the opportunities I did get to catch ball I don't think I had very many drops, maybe one throughout my whole college career. That's something I can definitely do is catch out of the backfield."

He will have to do. I liked his speed and size. Should be solid for the occasional series but I hope we dont need him much.

I think he could be a good between the tackles short yardage back as well. Hes got some pop. Had he not been part of a timeshare his senior season he would have put up big numbers in Houston. He was a very steady RB in college with a nose for the endzone. I think he may make the roster over Johnson. And could be viewed as another undrafted BO type find. Even-though im not huge on BO. I like what Dallas and Tennessee are doing with their run games.

Didn't watch much of the game last night, but he looked really good in the first preseason game as a pass blocker.
          Prediction:
          Correct: Chargers CI fails miserably.
Fail: Team stays in San Diego until their lease runs out in 2020. (without getting new deal done by then) .
Sig Bet WIN: The Chargers will file for relocation on January 15.

Yeah, that's what I see him as too Fleet. He's not going to "wow" you, but he's solid.

Also, on his nice runs... Swain laid some really nice blocks for him. (Just like Watt did on Swain's TD.) I hope they keep Swain on the PS.
"...of course that's just my opinion, I could be wrong."

Gus Johnson just got released so Farrow made it...for now.

If they don't pick up someone else, I see this as the RB/FB corps:

                RB1. Gordon
                RB2. Woodhead
                RB3. Farrow
                RB4/FB2. Swain
                FB1. D. Watt

Looks good to me. I also like that we've got a couple of great FB prospects on this team. It's been a while and I love the old school approach to our run game.

Agree, I think we'll carry 1 less TE to keep Swain.

I think it will come down to talent grades for keeping an extra FB over a TE. We are down a TE and RB so could go either way. I see a FB though as a solid blocker type that can fill the TE blocker role yet still catch or run so might lean on keeping Swain on the 53. Not sure what other positions we might need that roster spot though.

Farrow looks good though for the occasional duty of a third back. Seems to have a little more edge speed than BO and seemed to be an ok catcher. I dont see a dropoff over BO.

I dojt see us keeping 5 RBs. Farrow or Swain will be on the PS. Most likely Swain unless they pick up Swanky and then both go to PS. But who knows, after Gordan and Woody, i dont care who we keep.
