Year 2: the coaching staff making really bad decisions but a talented team making mistakes

Year 3: the coaching staff making the same mistakes and hurt by a lack of talent

Common factor coaching. Belechick gets it done with a third string coach.

Injuries are a factor but again Belchick gets it done, Tomlin gets it done he got victories last year with Vick\Landry how about Minnesota getting it done without Bridgewater\Peterson.

Need some real coaches period!

I think you would see the same thing with us healthy because of our coaching and lets not ignore the fact Indy had injuries going into the game and in the game but they won and I think they have less talent then we do especially on defense

Look at Oakland and Washington they have given up the most yardage
Throw in Indy and Tampa Bay giving up over 31 points a game.

Coaching has a lot to do with it besides us who lose like we did in KC, and what coaching staff has less than a killer instinct than we do we settle for FG way too often especially in clutch situations

I have no major issues with Telesco, other than he continues to keep McCoy around. I think McCoy is the real problem here.

Here we are three games into year four and we already know exactly who this team is and what our season will look like. The team's performance in this game yesterday could have been a McCoy coached team from his first, second or third year team and yet here are in year four and same shit. I am a McCoy guy, he was who I wanted when the search was on (and he is a Ute) but I am just not seeing anything different in his teams from year to year.

This. He's not perfect but if the coaching staff can get one or two more plays a game out of the team (and watching the games, it's certainly possible) than our record would be a lot different. As the article in the Loser thread points out - we are 3-10 in games decided by 8 points or less. The Broncos are 11-3.

Wasn't it already reported last year when McCoy was on the hot seat that even if he is fired, TT gets one more new coach hire?

I don't remember specifically reading that, but I agree that he won't get fired with McCoy. But I don't think the GM has had the sole ability to hire/fire SD head coaches since Beathard. Maybe Butler did.
