    THANK YOU SWEET BABY JESUS!!!!

Anthony Lynn Holding Players Accountable After "Sluggish" Practice

    Philip Rivers
While pleased with the offseason to date, the head coach let it known he didn't like what he saw on the field on the first day of mini camp.

Its what we needed to be honest. The answer to a shitty practice under McCoy is probably a bowling field trip or something. I really think players take on the personality of their coach and i honestly expected Lynn to hold his players accountable.

IIRC, either the last day of minicamp or training camp last year was dropped by McCoy. I'm thinking that the team under Lynn will be working all the allowed time. I'm for treating players like professionals, but the new tone is that being tough is part of that professionalism, not just an excuse to get off work early.

What? No more country club training camps? That's not the Charger's way.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

It's about damn time. This is what I have wanted since before they hired pock-necked Norb.

As much as I was ho hum about the Lynn hire at first, he is winning me over again and again. Granted he needs to win games but from everything I have read about holding players accountable, switching up the training to include more emphasis on Olympic style lifting, etc is nothing but positive in my mind

It's amazing how a coach that holds players accountable, like Marty and Ross did, seems to get more out of them. I am expecting Lynn to do the same as those two did.

Sure does bring back memories of Marty. Just hope he doesn't also believe in the 3 yards and pile of dust offense Marty liked.
