PR & Gates being blocked from going to LT's HoF ceremony? WTH? Asinine!

I could see why Philip would stay for the practice, as this would be his first real practice at Stub Hub (although I don't know why they wouldn't just do it earlier.) He might just want to get used to the sight lines, but that really doesn't matter that much. I doubt the team told him that he had to stay just because it was for the fans at the practice. Usually, the weekend for the Fan Fest is on the same weekend as the HOF induction, and I can understand why they didn't want to move the joint practice to a different day, as they want to get the most fans to the event (Saturday). Anything that the chargers do regarding marketing is probably going to be criticized, but I don't think they had the HOF induction in their minds.

I think Rivers is still pissed at LT for saying if the Chargers would of kept Brees they would of been Super Bowl champs at some point.

I never fully trust the media. Seeing this pop up at the top of yahoo news saying rookie coach wont let rivers and gates go is just not resoonsible of the media....if they have video of Lynn thats one thing but this heresay crap is frustrating and puts us in a bad light based on fake news.

Here is the real question - why doesn't the NFL move the HOF ceremony to a week before teams open up training camp to get rid of this entire issue?
