If you want a fast defense, you have to have fast players. And it looks to me that TT is bringing in fast LBs and DBs as UDFAs.

Look at how many more plays Toomer and Brown made last season than our other ILB have done recently. From a technique standpoint, they are not even as good. But the speed lets them make plays and helps cover up for the mistakes (both theirs and others).

Not much positive out of the backup LB and DL. McCain had some nice rushes, and Rochelle made some plays. The rest of them need to really step up next week or I would seriously consider filling the roster with waiver wire guys. With Seattle, the Rams, Atlanta and Jacksonville all playing similar schemes as us, we potentially could find enough bodies to fill out there roster if necessary.
