I am one of the lucky ones who is and I'm really looking forward to it. Lots of people coming in where I am here in Sun Valley. Our biggest concern is fires caused by people pulling off of the road onto dry grass, not knowing their cars' catalytic converters can quickly ignite the grass. Hoping for the best.
OT: Are any of you guys in the path of the total eclipse Monday?

I'm in Memphis. About 94% coverage here.
Have coworkers from all over the country going to Nashville or Charleston. I decided not to since there's another one in 2024 that will be closer to 100% and my youngest child will be old enough to understand -- and not look at it.

I'm a mere 30 miles outside the Zone of Totality...but I might as well be 30 LIGHT YEARS away. The roads out of Boise are predicted to be a nightmare, so we've decided to just stay put and enjoy 99.5% totality.

Never realized how big a deal this was until the people started pouring in.

I live in Dallas Oregon, a small place outside of Salem and our little town has been smashed by so many people. It's a nightmare to get any where. We are in the zone of totality as well. My daughter and grand kids are coming up from San Diego to be with us. I think it will be great for the kids!
