I felt sorry for those who traveled to Casper WY to have the only cloud in the sky to obscure the view.

Poured down rain here at my work, but got a 45 minute window right around the peak. Don't think my kids were as lucky across town, think it was still raining at their school.

Thought it it would be darker at 94% though. I'll have to drive to the total eclipse in 2024.

I can see why people travel long distances to experience totality. I agree with you ... awesome. Nothing else quite like it.

We are now in Ohio and are camped along side Lake Erie and spent the day at Cedar Point riding roller coasters. We could see it briefly but just as it was about to hit here at it's highest, storm clouds moved in and obscured everyone's view. Our eclipse viewing was definitely not spectacular, but the coasters were a blast!
