My wife had an interesting observation during the game. She was glad that San Diego is no longer associated with or amassed by this team.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

Fouts said San Diego CHargers about 40 times. Hey! That would make a great drinking game during these preseason stinkers....

Eric D. Williams ESPN Staff Writer

Chargers head coach Anthony Lynn said the "Mike" LB (Nick Dzubnar) failed to get over the top of his block on the 50-yard TD run by New Orleans RB Alvin Kamara. "He's not the only on to make a play, but that's where the hole came from," Lynn said.
    I don't ever recall a Charger's HC calling out a player before.

I look at Dzub as the Hank Bauer of this year's team. You look at him and you watch him play and you wonder why he is on the team. Then, somehow, he makes a play and looks pretty good.

Its funny how many more posts we get the day after a game when over the last 15 years its was always the other way around. Gameday with the big numbers followed by silence. You can just tell that during the games so many of us are just at a loss for words.

That will change when we kick ass this year.

G Dan Feeney, 77.7 overall grade
Feeney had a bit of a wild day, starting with the fact he saw time at all three interior line positions. While he did not surrender a QB pressure on 28 total pass-blocking snapsDB Desmond King, 85.9 overall grade
King allowed one-of-two targeted passes to be completed that only went for a single yard, or 0.08 yards per coverage snap. He was able to get his hands on Saints QB Chase Daniel to stall one drive, added another defensive stop, and a pass defense on another third down.

ED Melvin Ingram, 83.0 overall grade
Ingram was seemingly able to create penetration at will against the Saints. He recorded a sack, another pressure, and a 17.5 pass rush productivityPFF Game Ball: Desmond King, DB

Those sites saying who did well is useless. I didn't see very many strong run blocks. Clemens didn't suck as bad but his play isn't worth noting either.
