Not a Mea Culpa. But i too have been extremely critical of the team. And have lashed out at some of you. I apologize. Tough times.
Rivers is a stud. Ive been critical of him. The OL is clearly broken. But even looking forward years down the road. A new QB. New players. Its been like this for many years. Its always exciting to me when we start new chapters and end old ones. Win or lose its part of being a fan. For me personally there is no greater reward than knowing that i am the type of fan that sticks with them through thick and thin. Ive been to Browns games when they were the worst team in the league. And they still are. And fans are completely still diehard. For me personally i take my team through all seas. Rough or calm. Pride of being a diehard. I have no control over the players....coaches....owners. Im not going to let the owners....as disloyal as they may be....change my stripes. I had those stripes before they even owned the team. I was blue and gold long before spanos. They are the captain of this ship....and i will go down with this ship because i was on it before them. I was born on this ship and my father and his father and his fathers father raised me on this ship. Spanos was a nobody. So they come in and sail us to the north. And the north rejects us. I am like a fucking Viking and i will always fight alongside my fellow diehards. I dont have to like the leader. But i will fight for my colors. We are diehards not because what we do is easy, but because its so hard. I go years hurting over my team. My clan. But those of us that are left have our pride. I fight for the gladiators on the field and my brothers and sisters who still stand by me.
