There are some guys slated for free agency that i would look into. The Eagles wont bring back Sturgis. He was solid in 2016 before he got hurt in 2017.

Chris Boswell will be an RFA. I dont expect him to get a 1st or 2nd round Tender. So if he gets an original round tender to keep his salary under 2M that means we could make him an offer that the Steelers get to match. Id get in a bidding war with them for him. If we win him we are not subject to any compensation as he was undrafted.

However, I'd prefer a guy like Sturgis too. Elliot has been solid for the Eagles so a young kicker can still work

This kid had better stats than janikowski at FSU. He was touted as a cant miss nfl star. His dad got him and his brother kicking from age 10. His wheels came off in the nfl. Maybe he gets over it. Or maybe he is the Marinovich of kickers. Either way this is no risk move by bolts.

I don't see Aguayo being more than camp fodder. Even if he has a great preseason, I wouldn't have confidence that he would make fgs consistently in the regular season and postseason. I'd rather go in a different direction.
