So he laughed after the game in response to something the other kicker said to him? Wow, that seems petty as hell. Big deal. Chargers might want to think about re-prioritizing for players that can actually get the job done - and forget about who's laughing or crying or whatever.

Except he didn’t really get the job done last year for us. Missed key Fgs at end of halves and to tie games and also missed several Xtra pts. Kicking with confidence right now,

Charged4Life, instead of throwing your arms up in the air do a little google on Lambo and his issues with the Chargers.

Unbelievable. The assistant looks more pissed than a guy who was in the play that lost the game.
Id say that is more a big deal to fans than the team. He isnt the only one we've seen doing it over the years. And that was also with McCoy as the HC. Id call that a non issue to him getting cut for Koo.

If that characteristic carried into his effort/work ethic, I could see that being a reason. We kept Barksdale though.

I don't think he's available, but his nephew is the South Dakota State Kicker, and will be a junior this year. (and is very good, makes clutch kicks, hits from deep, good kickoffs... even ran a fake FG for a TD this season..was a very good HS WR, and excellent track sprinter in HS)

"...of course that's just my opinion, I could be wrong."

The last "kicker" we had that ran a fake FG for a TD in college turned out to be pretty good for us... too bad he was a Punter and not a K.

I hope they practice full ST kicking units simulating real game situations with all these guys. Job is in the line pressure. Some way so they arent just free kicking without being rushed. I dont care if Aguano is there...if he can show he has honed his craft and has the right attitude and maturity thats fine. Kickers dont grow on trees and few come right out the gates kicking 85-90% is my guess. Unless we go with an older vet there will be risk with any of the younger guys having a learning curve so they will miss some kicks due to inexperience. So its a win now with a Novak type guy vs win later long term with a newby and expect pain here and there.
