We had Rochelle and Philon last year when we couldnt stop the run at all so idk how well they really played. I think he would be a big improvement as a run down defensive lineman then coming off the field for passing situations. Is he worth the money is a valid question assuming he may want 6-8 million per year but I deffinitely think he would be a huge upgrade for the run defense

Rochelle wasn't active and part of the year they moved him to the PS but when he got his chances he played pretty decent. He was just a rookie last season.
I doubt they even sniff at Hankins. If they were interested,they would have done something by now but if he wants that kind of dough no way they are going sign him. They just restructured Luigets deal because he was to make that much this year. We don't have the cap space.

Hankins is looking for a big money deal. He may sign for less, but he is going to be patient and wait for the last second before he does. I can see us being the type of team he goes for. If you aren't going to get paid, you at least want to be on a very public platform to make the case for next season. Even though I think he wants to play for us, I don't see us looking for him, unless there is an injury.

Phillon and Liuget will split time for most of the season at 3 tech. Jones played the 3 tech spot for NC State, but they move their DT back and forth. Some of it was to give BJ hill a chance at 3 tech, but some of it was just because Jones can handle the dirty work and stand in vs the double team. IT will be up to the coaches (I would guess) but I agree with TT, I think Jones can play either NT or 3 tech. He lacks the quickness and upfield style of a lot of 3 tech, but he is a nightmare for teams to try and get outside when he lines up on the outside of the OG.

Rochelle will probably get some time outside on run downs, then slide inside on passing downs. He got some snaps there late, and Bradley specifically mentioned playing him at 3 technique on passing downs. He can sub in for the NT on some passing downs, when we play a 2 - 3 tech DT.

I'd say the Broncos hit on their first 6 picks. Thats about as good as a team can do.
