I know that, but the kid barely plays, while yeah we need depth why arent we trying to find a serviable starter. Doesnt have to be great just better than what we got

I think this is a better move than most I see. Teams are massively overpaying for players, and that rarely works out well. Usually, the player performs poorly and is cut a couple years into the deal, making salary cap problems for a team that then signs another FA to fill in the gap.

Schofield is a decent swing OT.

Good signing. And there are still some pretty good players out there that wont break the bank because the market is starting to clear. Some teams have used up all their space. Telesco can go shopping and find some decent players to build with and maybe one solid starter like he has in the past.
