Chris McCain still has no visits lined up? Something is going on. He had 5 sacks last year as a part time player and there's no interest this year?
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

I suspect the visit schedule will fill up after the draft

I hope they bring him back. He showed flashes early. If he can keep building on that he would be a very good rotation player

          Colts signed DE Chris McCain.
A 2014 UDFA, McCain tallied five sacks on 240 snaps for the Chargers last season. He entered the year with only two for his career. The Colts are taking pass rushing fliers after tallying a dismal 25 sacks a season ago.

Bummer. I was hoping the Bolts would bring him back

I’m hoping Nwosa at least equals McCain’s output from last season.

I wanted him back as well. I think Bosa tired at the end of the season, and you can't have enough good pass rushers. It's nice to have a great backfield, and maybe they flip the script a little on more coverage sacks.

Maybe this had something to do with the tender rescission:

NFL's Chris McCain accused of battering a woman

            Leonard GreeneContact Reporter

An NFL player has been arrested on charges that he spit on a woman and grabbed her by the neck, according to a report.
Indianapolis Colts defensive end Chris McCain was charged with battery months after a Jan. 7 incident in Los Angeles, according to TMZ Sports.
Details of the altercation remain unclear.
If convicted, McCain faces up to six months in jail plus fines and probation.

If it wasn't clear by the tweet by Woike, the event occurred before the rescission, and the Chargers informed the league office. The Colts must have known about the situation, but signed him anyway.

Agree. McCain was an average player who had one decent year in his career thus far, and definitely was replaceable. I had voiced my doubts about him on the field in the past and whether he could duplicate or improve upon 2017. I have no problem with what the team did/said; they left the door open to bring him back if he was cleared of any charges.

As far as squeaky clean image, it would be interesting to see what the team would do if an above avg or better player did something similar to McCain and was in the same situation contract-wise.

I would rather that be left in the realm of hypothetical discussion.

That is a good hypothetical. Don't know. I do think that laying your hands on a woman has always been a pretty bad thing to do and now the NFL feels that way, too (albeit because of it hurting the brand mostly). So if a Charger player does that, I suspect it will be treated different than drugs, drunk driving, other types of things. But I agree with PanamaMike. Let's not find out!

Given that this is the Colts and Telesco has so many ties to them in the front office/ownership and Reich is a former Charger assistant and one of Whiz's buddies in addition to a former Bill, I cannot imagine the Chargers did not tell the Colts McCain was damaged goods. They knew about this when they signed him. Also, if the Chargers report something to the league, does the League have to let other teams know? Another secret of the collusion inside our favorite game.

How can there be collusion when he signed a contract with the Colts?
