what pissed me off most was Sproles excelled as the 3rd down, change of pace, all purpose threat - and by NOrv starting him, we lost that weapon. It effectively weakened 2 positions for nothing. Remember, AJ had signed Michael Bennett as the insurance policy in case LT was lost like during the NE playoff game. Starting Bennett was the obvious correct call,,, but,,,, NOrv!

Derek Togerson.....an absolute dick of a charger hater....said on live television, "The Only Way That Virgil Green Would Ever Know What Position He Played Was If He Googled Himself"

Meaning hes such a terrible TE that he shouldnt even be considered one. Thats what i took from it. I thought it was terribly mean spirited for a media figure who once loved the team to come out and slam a player like that. If he were a fan of the team still he wouldn't have said that.

He is a very good blocking TE. Every team has one. The fact he came out and helped us even just a little bit in the passing game made me happy. Just because i wasn't expecting it. He went out and made Poyer look like a bitch. It was awesome.

I want him to prove Togerson wrong. I want him to prove everyone wrong that thinks he sucks as a pass catching TE. He didnt put up good fantasy numbers no...but i dont think we need that from our TEs. Not when you have WRs and RBs who can cover for lack of TE production in the passing game.
