I get that but just remember, Frank Gore had a torn ACL in each knee while at Miami(FL) and has had a long steller NFL career. Keenan after hearing both of his now hasn't had any knee issues. It's like Tommy John surgery for pitchers. You come back better.

I'd draft him at 60 but if be skeptical at 28 just because that is a possition of need and he won't play next season. But if they sign a FA DT and then draft him in the 2nd I'd be ok still having our first. I still like Philon who I'm sure we resign and Jones in year 2 getting better.

I don't think nothing of his assault as a high school guy. Everybody here probanly did something really stupid as a teenager.

If he is the only ELITE prospect left on my board I would take him at 28.

He can be elite but that don't help you when he can't play.

If we weren't so close to a SB contender then yes but we are so we need to score in round one with a player to help us now. But in the second I like it.
For me it depends on what they do in FA'cy and I'm not expecting a whole lot but think we see something.

An OT in round one starts next year. And plays almost every snap of the season. And minimizes the risk of Rivers getting hurt. Thats value.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

At what point might you consider top 5 overall talent
              at 60 or even 28?
Simmons is #1 overall on ninja's big board.
Wud, if Simmons is there at #60, I might take him, depending on how well he passes interviews, psych studies, etc. That would be insane value...

agree w/wu-dai that an RT is near mandatory, not to mention that not only do I think we're gonna have to do ditto that come 2020, as not only will I be surprised if Okung rolls thru another 16+ game season, would be even more surprised if he plays to his contract billing/ballooning, and as.... the Chargers would avoid the PR hit (2x over if they go OT round one.

if Cajuste is there @28.... really hard to pass, even if Jeffery is there (no way does he last 'til 60.... no way).

and the ACL or two.... don't think Tranquill is talented enough to warrant/garner anything much more than a day three grade, and would prefer him as an UDFA, and.... regardless of an ACL injury, there is no question re: Simmons' talent.

and a day three LB would be nice I guess, albeit don't seem him atm, albeit there are a coupla few that would feel good 'bout landing them day four/as UDFAs.
RT Taliese Fuaga, DT Jer'Zhan Newton, NT T'Vondre Sweat, LB Cedric Gray, TE Ben Sinnott, RB Daijun Edwards, FS Cole Bishop, QB Joe Milton

beach, cat, ATM I have Cajuste near the top of my cluster @ 60.

Circling back to Steve, ninja, and their thoughts on LBs, I like Jordan Brailford @ ~ 123. He is a versatile depth piece. LEO, SAM and even MIKE vs power run schemes. Here's a more athletic version of Kyle Emanuel.

I am very close to posting a PreCombine, PreFA, Wisdom of wu mock. There are just a couple of late round decisions to be made, following more study.

Someone had better trade up to 28
                        before someone else does.

The more overdrafting of QBs that is done bodes well for our draft needs.
