He has one year left after this year for $6.3 million. I don't think we could ever go wrong drafting at least one offensive and defensive lineman every year.

And one of them has to be drafted in the top two rounds every year. Keep the talent level up on both lines. Thats 9 starters, close to half the team. Spend draft capital on them.

I think thats the case. Its one thing to be healthy but to miss so much time actually playing the game....its probably still a bit too fast for him. He looked good run blocking against the niners in the preseason but he struggled with a few overload blitzes. They went right him. Chargers are sort of notorious for easing guys into their careers. Unless they are the types that just get it football IQ wise. James and Bosa come to mind. I felt like Feeney would pick it up faster because he knew the position. Lamp is just trying to get caught up most likely.

Read today that he is cleared for game action against the Brownies. It will be interesting how the staff integrate him in. Hope Okung is healthy this week.
