Virgil Green is TOUGH

I know a lot of us panned the signing of Green as a FA but he has been an outstanding blocker, just as advertised, and he can do a little in the passing game, too. So this was really a great signing. He is a solid starter for this offense and is a key reason the running game has improved.

But I want to note how tough he is. That cheap shot by the Raiders last game was pretty severe. If you watch in slo-motion, one defender has Green locked up low and Green is bent to the side and then Keys, the LB, speared him in the side of the head as hard as he could with a full head of steam. Green shook it off pretty quickly and played a quality game afterwards.

He really has been better than I anticipated. Great blocker, solid receiver, durable, and a very strong dude. He and HH will be a quality duo at TE for us next year ( maybe this year :ml: ).
