Here is the biggest take I see from Sunday's win.....respect.



I have worn my Chargers gear every weekend and I have worn my hat on Monday and Tuesday running errands. Before Sunday not a single soul in North Georgia has said a word to me. Now I can't go into the market or Costco without at least one person commenting and some guys want to break into an extended discussion. Funny how winning can do that for a team....

I mean, I don't really care much about power rankings... but how do you compliment the victory and still drop them 3 spots?

He (Pete Prisco) was the only one of the CBS Sports staff to pick the Chargers to beat the Steelers. He leapfrogged the Texans, Cowboys and Seahawks over the Chargers though.

Maybe. Prisco picked the Chargers over the Chiefs. He could use the excuse that it was expected.

I'm hearing lots of 'respect' for the Chargers by the national press, but for some reason, the jilted SD sports radio (outside KNSD and Hardwick) still likes to scorn the team, despite their success. I don't think LA media cares one way or another, and it will take years to generate a natural fan base for the Chargers in LA. Me... screw respect, just get me and all us legacy fans a Super Bowl win and don't "dis-charge"

I think we get into top 3 now. Some good games this weekend might mess with things a bit.

i wear my hat with pride and people seem to be over asking if im still really a fan after the move. Its about their legitimacy now and each week they keep showing up and beating the good opponents. There is no excuse of well you only beat the bad teams now. We keep showing we are for real as a contender.

Im amazed to truly have a shot this year, i didnt think Lynn and TT could build this team this quick from the Mccoy debacle. I dont want to get ahead of myself but wow....we have a real chance as a balanced team that is showing no opponent is too big.
