Running game will be important in the wet weather for sure.
But more important than the rain, is the wind... You can throw the ball in wet conditions, shoot with the gloves the WR's wear now, it's not that big of a factor.
Getting the ball where it's supposed to go in a driving rain can be difficult, though.
(SDSU Jackrabbits almost lost to Kennesaw State Saturday, because the wet and windy conditions severely hampered the passing game.)
