I think if it slows down their speed its not abad thing. It will lead to busted plays on both Ds though...what should be simple tackles can get dicey.
I can see a lot of screens behind a host of blockers being successful. Short passes to Allen. Hurts our deep ball for sure but i bet we still try them esp if the D leaves it more open by bringing safeties up. I can see the Williams height helping in jump balls on this.
i dont care really. Play the game to our best. Abolity is all I ask.

Weather can have a negative impact on a defense as much as it can on the offense. Not only the obvious negative effects of bad footing, harder to tackle, etc., but bad weather can also change the way a defensive game plan is put together, more zone and less man to man, less frequent/effective blitzes, etc. Bad weather has an impact on all three phases and could affect both teams equally.I'll ride the wave...where it takes me.

To address the running game, that Justin Jackson kid can hit the holes, FAST. I really don't think the team will adjust it's game plan over the possibility of Detrez Newsome and J-Jacks having to carry the ground game load. (I hope those kids can catch balls out in the flat.) I'd LOVE a re-dux of that Pittsburgh game.... When the game was on the line, the Chargers (with the score 30-30) drove down and set up a GW FG by the "Money-Badger." The Chiefs are going to make their plays, we need the Chargers to make theirs. K-C has some injury troubles, too. Spencer Ware's banged up, they might have to turn to Damien Williams. Both teams know how valuable this game is... And, when it comes to the Chargers in Arrowhead with the noise, hell, they've been on the road for 13 weeks, now. They can handle that stuff....
Oh, and for the posters asking where I've been? hehe... Still a little bummed about the move to L.A., about 15 minutes away from where I live. I lost all my tailgate fans, but will never let go of the team. I was the outsider, driving down to SD every week. Now, no one drives up here. Lost ALL of my friends. (That, and $100 parking.) :-D

So Cal Chief Fan Here. Bad weather and both teams hurting a bit. Ware probably out and Watkins is also out. Two oline starters out. Hill is limping but expected tp play. Eric Berry should play a little. I think turnovers will be the biggest story.
