Rivers beat the presumptive MVP on the road on TNF. IF we win out, Rivers is the MVP.
Rivers for MVP

Surely has merit. Not sure if media will not go Mahomes though. Rivers has been clutch in the 4th quarter bringing us back. Whiz really called a good game overall. We turned it over 2x so imagine score if we had kept those throws and taken a sack or thrown away.

He absolutely should be in the running, but it's not like Mahommes screwed the pooch last night. And then there is Goff and Gurley. And Brees. Rivers won't win it, but I think what happens the rest of the season will determine it. I still think it ends up going to Mahommes and I am grudgingly okay with that.

Agreed the comebacks are a feat to be considered. Mahomes hasbeen ridiculous though with 45 tds and leading on yards too? His qb rating is 2 pts over Rivers but Brees is 120 and has only 4 ints on the year. Its tough picking. Rivers is in the running. Last 2 games will be interesting.
If Mahomes flails he could lose it but the kid played a good game thurs. if he throws ints and loses the game thats about the only hope of him dropping. The kid deserves it as of today. To do this in his second year is commendable.
frankly I want Rivers to hoist a trophy. That is all that matters. Less distraction of mvp is fine...go win out from here Phil.
