    #1 seed

Bolts versus Chiefs. KC wins out, it us theirs. We win out with 1 loss by KC, It is ours.

Big news today. KC just lost their #1 cb. They are pretty beat up.

The Kansas City Chiefs lost more than Thursday night's game against the Los Angeles Chargers.

I'm very hopeful it will happen.

However, when I think about the Stubhub being the "homefield" for the AFC playoffs... I get the same conspiracy feelings I got when the Chiefs were driving for their last score.

-The NFL doesn't want the Chargers in as the #1 seed. Buckle up for the next 2 weeks.

Other than the bye week, I'm not sure if it matters too much for this team. They seem to be more focused and play better when not in L.A. Unlike the Pats, Chiefs and Steelers, where HFA means something, it doesn't for the Chargers.

It's a different team, yeah, but the last time the Chargers had the #1 seed, they failed spectacularly... we don't need to go over that history!

The week off would be huge.

Week off would be big especially not knowing the status of Keenan Allen, and able to rest Melvin Gordon.

If we win week 16 against the Ravens and KC wins against the Seahawks we are locked in to opening Wild-Card weekend at that point the last game against Denver rest starters or play them for a half, because I don't see KC losing to the Raiders the final week

If we win week 16 against the Ravens and KC loses against the Seahawks, then we have a shoot at home field advantage through out and at that point against Denver blow them out early and rest starter late in 3rd quarter

I would be really really really happy if both teams win out, I want the Chargers to be on the road...

Win out. Hopefully the #1 seed falls to us. Yes, a bye week is huge. Enjoying the ride! #bolo

No brainer to want home field advantage. While we have played very well on the road, getting a week off to get healthy as well as having to win one less game to move on are huge.

                        I'm still scarred from 2006 and 2009....
but an extra week of rest and one less game played are hard to pass up.

This team has found an edge though, I would hate to lose that with a week off. I also worry that it would make some of the young guys complacent.
