Arrrggghhhh, I removed the Chargers from the overrated-underrated list a week too early. Stupid, stupid, stupid.

I'd add the Chargers back on, but I saw stupid stuff on Twitter like "Fraudulent Chargers, as expected." Uhh... because they lost to a very good team off an emotional win? Do you people not understand how football works?

Sizable drop for the Chargers, who plummet for multiple reasons. Yes, the loss to the Ravens plays a role. Yet, it's how they lost that's most important. First, Anthony Lynn's offensive line was dominated at the point of attack. The running backs made up for it by absolutely whiffing in pass pro. Then there's the fact that this was a "home game" for the Chargers, yet there was plenty of purple Ravens gear in the stands, save for that one fan wearing an old San Diego-purple Natrone Means alternate jersey. The Bolts own no home-field advantage. More disconcerting, and the main reason for the drop here, is that the Chargers were absolutely dominated in a game where they could have asserted themselves as the top seed in the AFC and potentially earned the right not to go on the road for the postseason (though their home games have certainly felt a bit like road games this year).

They will now likely have to travel the road path to win in the playoffs. That won't be easy.

The Chargers were probably headed for another successful fourth-quarter comeback before the misfortune of that Antonio Gates fumble. They remain a strong threat to take the AFC because they can win anywhere, any way with Philip Rivers and Anthony Lynn.

      The Chargers must be sick.

Non-QB MVP: PK Michael Badgley. Last season, the Chargers were a consistent kicker away from making the postseason. After Caleb Sturgis struggled earlier in the year, the Chargers released him and finally settled on Badgley, an undrafted rookie. That move paid big dividends. The University of Miami product has made 15 of 16 field goals, including a franchise-record 59-yarder, as well as 24 of 25 extra points, earning him the nickname "Money Badger." -- Eric D. Williams

And now the hype train slows to a crawl. The Chargers offense was shut down by the Ravens defense for virtually the entire game, in large part due to the offensive line having absolutely no answer for the Ravens defensive front. The Chargers finish the season at Denver, where the Broncos defense will test whether the Chargers offense can again prove that they can adapt and overcome setbacks.

About as expected. Played a subpar game and didnt have a great answer to the Ravens DL but indeed we were driving for the win before a good D play forced the fumble. I still think we can beat them on a second try...their O is still not going to score a lot so its going to be a one score game if we are behind.

This feels similar to the year we were 14-2 ... in that I really don't think any team can beat us twice ... if we end up 5th, which looks likely, I hope we get the Ravens because I don't think they beat us twice ...

Don't give up on the #1 seed just yet, stranger things have happened this year ... Oakland looked decent against the Broncos and KC is on the skids losing to Seattle and having that start out awesome and fading at the end of the year, not again, feeling ... and KC looks nervous / scared ...

I do hope we get the Ravens... no team beats a good team twice... that's why I want the Ravens instead of the Steelers... and I want them in their house to f**k them in front of their own fans. In your own house Weddle.. you are going to be our bitch.. you big mouthed f...k

What's the point at playing at our home? we dont have a home.. fans doesnt show up anyway... the week off? things dont go well with this team when they get favored on something... they need to be constantly pushed around to get results.
