Three games without a passing TD.

Multiple games with more rushing attempts than pass completions.

One start with 200 passing yards, the rest range from 125 to 179.

Mostly a sub-60 pass completion percentage.

      ...

Now I'm not saying that Lamar Jackson can't become a good quarterback in this league, however the evidence so far suggests he's heavily reliant on running the ball. Take that skill away from him (e.g. an injury like RG3 suffered, and with his slender frame and style it's only a matter of time), and suddenly he's not a startable QB due to his passing ability. So while he might develop, it's not surprising that some questioned his ability to play the position in the pros and suggested he consider another position. As a passes he's got a LOT to work on if he's ever going to get near Joe Flacco standard, let alone Philip Rivers, and certainly the QBs in the tier above that!

You are a troll. Your QB has talent but at this point he isnt even a good passer. He had the attributes of a WR ....deal with it...and trust me it wasnt just the Chargers that were thinking or asking that question if he might be a WR. He is a talented athlete...history shows ling term success for those types isnt pretty...

As much as its interesting to watch a running QB that thinks run first you name me one that has actually succeeded long term. Lamar WILL get injured...I guarantee it. Good defenses can focus on stopping a pure running attack and without passing abilty he wont last long. They dont score a lot. If not for the Ravens top D Lamar would no doubt have something like s 500 at best record.

Now go back to eating eating your bird seed

You guys are confusing a good Quarterback with a good passer.
Hell, do we say PR isn't a good QB because he can't run?
A QB doesn't have to be an elite runner or elite passer to be a successful QB at this level.
A good QB helps you win games. And for the past, what, 8 weeks, has there been a better player at his position?

No, LT was a very effective passer, doesn't make him a good quarterback. You helped prove my point
Any QB's job is to help his team win. Whilst I'll agree that LJ doesn't have the passing ability at this point, he's definitely finding a way to help his team win.

The only thing I know for sure is if he keeps running as much as he does, he is going to be injured at some point.
