jackson was shut down on the ground as was their offensive run game. We let up in the 4th and should have kept the pressure on. Jackson did ok passing but definitely isnt a good passer yet.

I think they let up in the 4th quarter on purpose. They probably felt the game was well in hand at 20-3 and could hold some things back to not show as much for NE to study before next week. Balt made some good adjustments for the 2nd half, but really it was Chargers making mistakes that let them get close as they did. If they played mistake free like the 1st half it would have been a true blowout.

DBs lost focus and got caught looking in the backfield. I mean down 17 late you have to expect more play action and less runs. Problem is LJ can take it to the house from anywhere if he gets a crease and you are playing man. Hayward has not played well this year and really looks like he is missing his 5th gear.

This. Lamar needs two years at least behind a competent vet and getting lots of attention from a qb coach. I honestly thought Baltimore was going to do that with Flacco but they decided to go all in on the gimmick. I think that will bite them in the rear in the long run.
