Personally, he was my favorite Charger ever. A special place in my heart/memories.

Not sure if this was his last game or not, but man, what a special guy to watch play. Thanks for everything!

Can't imagine him being brought back. He gave it everything he had and is one of my all time favorite players but he was done a year or two ago. It's Henry's time.

I think I'm in the minority on this but Gates has been so clutch these past few weeks, better than anybody else on the team with 3rd down conversions, etc.

I for one want him back. He wants to come back. Rivers would love it. If Antonio would go low carb and swim and slim down it could only help.

I wouldnt mind him coming back but I doubt they bring him back. Only a season ending injury got him back this year and they took their time doing it.

I'd sign him to the vet minimum...you could do worse than Gates and Henry as your TEs.

If anything keep him from signing with an AFC rival and having egg on our faces if he happens to burn us in a big game.

Pretty sure Gates said he doesn't want to play for anybody else or wouldn't , don't recall which, and dont know if he would play for the vet minimum. They could have done that this season but gave him 1.25 mil. Still cheap.
