  • For Those Struggling With Images - Also Planned Update Tonight at 10:30PM

Here at the blues we have custom coding that allows us to drag and drop an image from your computer. Obviously has to be saved in your images. This has nothing to do with posting link images. Just drag the photo from your library into the reply field. The issue is it doesnt autoresize. So i wanted to show you how to make the image smaller as most of the time these images are large and can blow up the screen. My coder is working on a fix.

We have been wanting to update the software but havnt had the time. Its sometimes a 3 hour process. Should have a few minor new features added. Wanted to be ready for Free Agency to ensure smooth sailing during that time. Im hoping this place sees some action.

Dragging images. When you do it look at the bottom right corner of the image. You can increase and decrease the image by licking and holding the black box on the corner.

Ill update and close this thread when the resizing code is added to the drag and drop code.

    Cheers

There are a few ways to do images. Its a pain in the ass to be honest. I dont know why they made it so difficult. Most of the time you can just right click on an image online and copy the image address. Then paste it in the image attachment "URL" box. You can also upload from your computer there.

Awesome. I didn't even know we could drag images and post them like that. I thought it had to have a link from elsewhere .

You can save to computer and drag. But for those who dont want to flood their computer library with photos you can just enter the url in the image uploader.

Image resize now works. No need to make an image smaller to keep it from blowing out the width of the forum.

Wanna try this out since im not on my PC very often anymore.

Well, the pic i was trying to drag in was big and it didnt give me a chance to make it smaller as it said " incorrect server response"

How big? PNG or JPG? We have a 3K by 3K max.
