The glut of free agent safeties made this an easy move, and they had already had signed Watkins. Its a business, and the rule is to get better, and there's a good chance they will. Best wishes to Addae,

I do not think Gipson has the speed we are looking for.

        This is just dizzying.

I had my next mock damn near ready to go.

TT is standing me on my head.

We do not play modern football.

I see this exactly opposite that u do. Gipson plays a very good deep safety and creates turnovers. He would be a big upgrade at FS.

Yeah Wu ive never really been a big supporter of timed speed. His game speed is more important to me and i think its solid. His ability to read and react is well above average. And some of that has to do with the fact he played QB in addition to defense in HS. Highly productive FS that is actually really solid in coverage. He knows the system. Its an easy fit. He has a solid understand of the game. Lays the wood. Great open field tackler. Good gap assignment. Good read of the QB. I think hes a good fit in this defense if you can overlook that 40. Comes in and starts right away. Knows the terminology. Could be cheaper than Addae in a flooded market.

Its not just a single high center field thing we are going for....our FS should be technically sound and proficient in the run game as well. I think he is a good coverage safety as well as cover 3 zone type.

Tyreek will wave as he flys by.

Rapp is kinda like Thornhill in he has played all over in the secondary and takes good angles... only he is better. He had great times in his drills but didn't run the 40.
I like some on your list as well but don't think we are going FS in the first round and not sure Adderley is much above some like Rapp that we need to use a first on him. Still thinking safeties will slide in this draft. RBs too.

Obviously Earl is the true FS with range.

Gipson is slow, but has instincts.
Gibson and Earl are true centerfielders. I would also take a swing at Joyner. Mathieu is a hybrid safety like James but he's had too many injuries for my liking. Not to mention that everything I read about him from the Texan fans seem to suggest that he wasn't the elite player last year for them that he was with the Cards.
