The glut of free agent safeties made this an easy move, and they had already had signed Watkins. Its a business, and the rule is to get better, and there's a good chance they will. Best wishes to Addae,
Addae cut!

Yeah Wu ive never really been a big supporter of timed speed. His game speed is more important to me and i think its solid. His ability to read and react is well above average. And some of that has to do with the fact he played QB in addition to defense in HS. Highly productive FS that is actually really solid in coverage. He knows the system. Its an easy fit. He has a solid understand of the game. Lays the wood. Great open field tackler. Good gap assignment. Good read of the QB. I think hes a good fit in this defense if you can overlook that 40. Comes in and starts right away. Knows the terminology. Could be cheaper than Addae in a flooded market.
Its not just a single high center field thing we are going for....our FS should be technically sound and proficient in the run game as well. I think he is a good coverage safety as well as cover 3 zone type.

I like some on your list as well but don't think we are going FS in the first round and not sure Adderley is much above some like Rapp that we need to use a first on him. Still thinking safeties will slide in this draft. RBs too.11 Brock Bowers TE - Georgia

Obviously Earl is the true FS with range.
Gipson is slow, but has instincts.
