I like Square. He's a helpful tool, because they can move him all around the line.

                Couple of things:
                1) Suh wasn't great against the run so signing him would have been pointless and a waste of money.
                2) Our run defense was not bad last year. Not sure where that false narrative came from other than what happened in the Patriots game. We were actually top 10.

So Suh is going to accept vet minimum to be depth on this team? No one is saying Square is better than Suh.

He may or may not be today and I don't know what Square signed for but Suh isn't worth the extra 9 mil or even 5 or 6 mil it would take to sign him.
The Rams run defense was terrible with him.

you with your facts and statistics. Next youll claim last years team could beat the Steelers or Chiefs. Or claim they were playoff caliber. We wont hear it!!!

I'm glad we brought Square back. He knows our system, he's a solid guy in the rotation, and he was healthy all 16 games last year. His stats are actually pretty decent, considering he split time with others: 31 total tackles, 3 sacks and 3 passes defensed. Imagine lining him up next to Tillery, who will no doubt make Square a better player.

Suh wasn't a good fit in Wade Phillips D. He was a 305lb 4-3 NT in a 340lb 3-4 NT slot in his 9th yr, may not be the player he was either. I wouldn't throw big money at him but if he'd take a cheap 1yr & a ring? Worth a look.
