I would not be against this signing.

I don't think it will happen, but I am not against it.

Would have to release a higher-priced player, such as Benjamin.

That actually makes a lot of sense. He'd be a upgrade over who they currently have.

Bucs signed Ndamukong Suh to a one-year contract.

With the Bucs cutting ties with Gerald McCoy, Suh was a logical replacement and it only took one day to get the deal in place. In DC Todd Bowles' scheme, it won't be surprising to see Suh put up solid numbers across the board. However, after staying on the free agent market for months, Suh will once again be playing for a new contract next year as a 33-year old after only getting a one-year contract.

Suh long to trying to figure out if he was in the Chargers picture. I wonder if the Bucs used Suh to try to get McCoy to take a pay cut, and when McCoy stood firm, they cut him knowing that Suh was just cheaper.

It was exactly what they did. Mccoy was 13.5MM i think against the cap.

would be nice if this could be us going forward, i.e. when Brandon hangs 'em up....

                    http://thedraftnetwork.com/articles/mccoy-s-departure-means-big-opportunity-for-vita-vea

there is no half man alive that can stop Vita, and that includes any NFL OG late to the Vea party.

                    Derrick Brown pls....

You're probably right but I'd sure like to see him join the Bolts.

I think he probably fits best at 3T. I keep reading from Bolt twitter publications they want him to play next to Tillery. I dont know that he is a 2 gap 1T type. Possibly. But i think he probably would start next to Mebane and let Tillery learn under him.
