  • So, Vitamins don't work...how bout that?

I've been taking them, off and on, for quite a while.

Guess I'll stop wasting my money.

Oh really ? Have you taken a look at Ray Kurzweil lately ? The issue is that the form of the supplements is not recognized by the receptors in the body. Go to Life Extension. You'll see that they measure the amount of the vitamins, minerals, compounds, etc that end up and remain in the blood stream, after consumption. Formulas contain key components in more than one form, to ensure efficacy. There are even cases of FDA studies being deeply flawed, the vitamin E study, for example.

Kurzweil is a futurist. He is way ahead of the curve. He just turned 70, yet looks like he is 50.

At one time RK was taking 250 supplements a day, many of them in large doses. Frequent blood tests are also involved.

The point is that vitamins work, if taken correctly.

How do we age and die ? Cancer and heart disease, with the big factor of insulin resistance, should be areas of concern.

FWIW I take zero vitamins. My total regimen consists of simply consuming Health Force VitaMineralGreen, and Synergy Cell Protector + Heart Protector.

These are generally recognized as "best of the best" and comprehensive plant based supplements.

A little krill oil and shilajit are thrown in for good measure.

Also, it is especially recommended that everyone look into adaptogenic herbs, especially ashwagandha.

wu-dai….... big ups for VitaMineral Green.... can vouch for its efficacy. am also a big fan of cacao and mushroom powders, and for peoples that need their coffee, personally prefer putting a bit of maca in my "brown" powder.... (of which I add to my morning tea, and w/a bit of hemp choco milk and honey) ....the "green" powder is added to my morning aj.
