        John Avildsen, 81, Oscar winning director for Rocky (I and V), and also directed the Karate Kid movies.

        Stephen Furst, 63, played "Flounder" in "Animal House", and was a regular in "Babylon 5"

                        i saw this guy last week on the show "The Therapist". He was basically the patient or client and had some very interesting comments regarding supernatural stuff. I enjoyed listening to his life story. The guy suffered a lot with sickle-cell.

                              • R.I.P. Glen Campbell, 81, after battling Alzheimer's. Something I did not know, he played guitar on the Beach Boys "Pet Sounds" and toured with the band for a few months when Brian Wilson was unable to tour. He was offered a full time gig, but turned it down to go on his own.

                                    he also played guitar on Viva Las Vegas for Elvis and You Lost that Loving Feeling for Righteous Brothers among others. Had quite the session track musician career before going solo.
