R.I.P. George A. Romero, 77, the father of the Night of the Living Dead movie franchise, of lung cancer. I liked "Dawn of the Dead" the best.

R.I.P. Glen Campbell, 81, after battling Alzheimer's. Something I did not know, he played guitar on the Beach Boys "Pet Sounds" and toured with the band for a few months when Brian Wilson was unable to tour. He was offered a full time gig, but turned it down to go on his own.

he also played guitar on Viva Las Vegas for Elvis and You Lost that Loving Feeling for Righteous Brothers among others. Had quite the session track musician career before going solo.
