Rodney is an idiot. Former Charger or not.

I'm not going to be satisfied with anything less than hospitalization.

Why? Did America repeal the first amendment while I was locked inside of a gym shedding 23 pounds over the summer?

I'm a retired veteran of the US Navy....and I say it's a free speech issue.

I may not agree with what he has to say, and how he says it, but I will defend to the death his right to do so.

I don't agree with his method but I fully support his freedom to protest in any non violent way for whatever issue he feels strongly about

I support what Kapernick (spelling?) is doing. If he feels that strongly about something, as long as he is not calling for violence, then he should do it.
I never understood why we sing the national anthem before football games anyway - it has always felt like cheap patriotism to me.
Mad respect and sorrow for those who have killed, died, and suffered for this nation - me mangling our national anthem with my nails-on-a-crack-pipe voice does not add on to their greatness. As far as I am concerned, I and most NFL fans are not worthy enough to sing that song. It should be left to the military.

I support everyone exercising their freedom of speech to bash the hell out of Kaepernick.

I'll put it to you this way. Anyone in a Chargers uniform sits during the national anthem and I'm done with this sport for good. He's not making any statement for anyone, he's just another spoiled brat attention whore who needs his ass kicked.

I'm sure there are other fans of other teams that feel the same way. The NFL doesn't need its players pissing off a large portion of its fan base over politics when tuning into game.

There are fans of his own team pissed at him.

What would be awesome if right before the anthem is sung if the PA announcer said "Everyone please rise and remove you caps for the national anthem. I said everyone Kaepernick."
