Yeah. Big blow to the Raiders chances for Vegas, but I doubt MD will turn around and withdraw the proposal yet. Raiders don't have to move from Oakland as they have a year-to-year lease for at least 2 years, IIRC.

Las Vegas still has the city of San Diego beat with the $750m in public funds committed to a new stadium.

But yeah what a joke. NFL can hit the road. Maybe the Raiders can be the third tenant in Kroenke's building.
          Prediction:
          Correct: Chargers CI fails miserably.
Fail: Team stays in San Diego until their lease runs out in 2020. (without getting new deal done by then) .
Sig Bet WIN: The Chargers will file for relocation on January 15.

LOL....perfect, Force Spani to trade team names, if Spani are sandwiched between San Diego Raiders and LA Rams they will get crushed , with LA Raiders he at least has a fan base and can compete with Kroenke

And the topper, Al Davis's devil spawn saves the San Diego Chargers!!

Spanos must be absolutely SHITTING his pants!
Like 6025 and Fleet, San Diego Raiders came straight to mind.
At this point, I'd back a SD Raiders team against an LA Charger team owned by Spanos.

If I'm Mark Davis I'd keep the Raiders brand - he has no incentive to change because he will have a large built-in fan base as the Raiders already.

One day after billionaire business mogul Sheldon Adelson pulled the plug on his financial backing of the proposed Raiders stadium in Las Vegas, Goldman Sachs — the next chief financial backer — followed suit.

"Ronnie Lott, the leader of an investment group keen on keeping the Raiders in the East Bay, tweeted Monday that he remains devoted to gathering funds for the construction of a $1.25 billion, 55,000-seat seat stadium in Oakland."

Fuck those greedy ownners.. they are all the same, they want their brand new stadium to earn more money or simply fuck off city that has supported you for years...

In my mind there is no difference among them, fuck'em all with a cattle prod.

Lott plans will fail as well because Davis would have to split earnings with the investment group.

If Sachs won't do it in Vegas, they won't do it in Oakland either.

The NFL should have let Oakland go to la and San Diego stay here.

Everyone lectures municipalities about what a great investment NFL Stadiums are yet Sachs and a billionaire investor say NO THANKS....WTF?
