    Please No QB

I think ill feel the draft is ruined if we draft a QB at 7. I can probably learn to be ok with any other position. OL at 7 will be tough. But its better than QB. I know the future is important but we need a starter on either side of the ball now.

We need a day 1 starter.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

I have read a few things over the past few weeks (taken with a huge grain of salt) that the Chargers had some interest in Kizer as a developmental QB.

I don't think any of the QBs left in this draft will end up being game changers....JMHO.
As I mentioned earlier, Towles & Leidner may make for interesting developmental guys, but they are certainly far from the caliber of QB we would need to replace PR in 2-3 years.
The more I think about it, the more I think I prefer to wait until next year in hopes of getting somebody like Josh Allen (Wyoming).

I actually like Webb quite a bit. If anyone reminds me of Rivers its him. Similar traits. Similar background with a father thats a coach. He wants to eventually be a coach. And has been preparing his playbook for years. So he thinks like a coach. And his ability to see what a D is doing and make changes at the line may be the strongest of any QB in the draft. He needs to sit for a couple years. He will go in the 2nd round.

I don't particularly want a qb, but if you see a future quality starter, you have to take him. I don't want to be the next Cleveland or Houston.

Man, not sure how I keep overlooking Davis Webb, but I like that guy too. I would certainly rather have him than Kizer (or the other 2 guys I mentioned for later). It wouldn't bother me if they decided to go with Webb in the 2nd to groom for Rivers' eventual successor (hopefully no sooner than 3 years from now). At the very least, it would be a nice contingency QB plan.

I'm not a fan of Kizer.

Dobbs, I kind of like, but it would have to be round 3 or later... I don't want any QB's in Round 2. And hopefully not round 3 either.

Anyone like Kaaya? I'm kind of meh on him. Saw him play a few times... he looks good at times, and horrible at others. But, I guess that's what you get with mid-to late round QB projections.
"...of course that's just my opinion, I could be wrong."
