If they get a Joe Thomas for LT, I could see Dunlap or Fluker at RT replacing Barksfail. Not sure if Burwell, Wiggins, Hairston are ever more than backups. Pulley looked good in limited duty and who knows what we have in Donovan Clark after missing his rookie year on IR.11 Brock Bowers TE - Georgia (plus AZ 2025 1st)

I just hate to rely on a guy coming off a serious injury, who is basically a rookie and has not played a down in the NFL. It's fine if we bring him in and let him compete. In fact, I think Tuerk should be allowed to compete. I just think you hand a guy a starting job, with a line like ours, and you are asking for trouble.
Fluker has played pretty well, but he did not have a good game vs TB, even though he has been pretty good this year.
Franklin has been awful.
Slauson is out of position at C. he is a better OG, although I give him a lot of credit for trying to keep a the whole house of cards from caving in. He is also a good guy to keep around, because he can play either OG or C, so it lets us chase the best player rather than a guy who plays one spot.
I would actually like to keep Barksdale, but thinking of him as an upgrade over Hairston as our swing OT, not a starter.

Franklin - 1.6 Million Dead Money Post June 1 cut. 6 Million Cap Savings
Barksdale - 4 Million Dead Money Post June 1 cut. 1.5 Million Cap Savings
Flowers - 2 Million Dead Money Post June 1 cut. 9 Million Cap Savings
Gates - 500K Dead Money Post June 1 cut. 5 Million Cap Savings
Dunlap - 1.6 Million Dead Money Post June 1 cut. 6.8 Million Cap Savings
We had 12 Million in dead money this season. That comes off the books next year. Id look at cutting most of these players post June 1. Puts us back on the books next year for roughly 9.7 million. 8 Million if we use Dunlap at RT which we may have to. Fluker can also be extended reducing his 2017 8 million cap hit.
But frees up 28 million in cap space if all are cut post June 1. 22 Million if we keep Dunlap. Use the money to Sign Ingram and a starting OT with some youth. Or trade for someone like Thomas or Staley. If Khalil dosnt resign with the Vikings maybe he someone we target in UFA.
