      because Spanos owns the entire SoCal market for NFL football- that's why. Oh wait, that reasoning was shot down by the NFL during the re-location saga. Actually, the LA Times purchased the SDUT some time ago and has basically made the UT "LA Times south" version with same slant on everything. They probably think they are performing a valuable service for all the 7 local fans who still support the Chagras but don't want to patronize anything with LA in the name.

        Anything without the UTSD slant on it is an improvement.

          Ghelkin just tweeted that he landed the gig as the Raiders beat writer, for now in Oakland and then in Las Vegas, for the Las Vegas Review-Journal.
