Thats odd. Can you take a screenprint of that so i can see it? It looks great to me. You want the text lighter or the background? Making the text lighter on a white background makes it even worse.

Something is definitely wrong with your computer. I really hope its not like that for everybody. Id really suggest you use the original powderblue theme. Let me know if you want me to set that for you.
