Just a waste of time and money and the outcome won't change. Spanos is a terrible owner and a weenie, but it is his team and he should be able to move it if he wants.

Then they shouldn't ask for city money or have a city name on the jersey.

Then he could do what the duck he wants.

It's Not Seattle Microsoft. It's just Microsoft.

As an owner, he can already do whatever the duck he wants, including moving or asking a city for money. If the city thinks they will benefit from it, than they may pitch in. If not, they won't. The guy is a tool and a horrible owner but that is low on the list of reasons I despise him.

What's the basis for the suit?

I haven't read the full lawsuit but the summaries in every story I've read indicated a collectively agreed-upon out clause for the Rams that the team legally executed so it was legal and nothing else short of proving Kroenke did something illegal will change that. Lawsuit is DOA IMO.
