    Caleb Brantley charged with assault

5 days pre-draft, #Florida DT prospect Caleb Brantley was charged in a 4/13 incident with misdemeanor assault, knocking a woman's tooth out
Was projected by some to be a second round pick. Wonder how far he falls. The stupidity of players doing things like this at any time, but especially right before the draft, just boggles my mind.

Throw him in the trash heap next to Mixon. I don't want this trash on my team.

A former Florida football player and potential NFL draft prospect is facing a misdemeanor charge after an alleged physical altercation with a woman, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported.

Caleb Brantley was charged with misdemeanor simple battery after he allegedly struck a woman with a closed fist and knocked her unconscious in the early hours of April 13 in Gainesville, Florida, according to a report released by Gainesville Police.

Brantley and the alleged victim were engaged in a verbal altercation due to crude comments made by Brantley when the alleged victim pushed Brantley, who allegedly responded by striking the victim in the face, knocking her unconscious and causing dental injuries that displaced a tooth, the report stated.

Brantley's alleged "use of force was clearly out of retaliation and not self-defense," and the dental injuries caused by the alleged battery will require a root canal, the report added.

Brantley played for three years at Florida.
Now, if you excuse me, I have some Charger memories to suppress.

        Sadly, they'd make perfect Raiders.

I'll tell you how far he falls, right off my draft board. Don't put your hands on women, children or pets. It's not that hard actually.
